Resthaven Funeral Home was established by lifelong Sinton resident Yvonne (Cantu) Hickel in March 2007.  Yvonne graduated Sinton High School and Commonwealth College of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas.  She has worked extensively in the funeral industry since 1991. Yvonne was employed as a Funeral Director/Embalmer by Allison Funeral Services in Liberty, Texas, Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas and as Manager at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas.  Yvonne is the daughter of the late Charlie Sr. and Guadalupe Adams Cantu. Yvonne and husband, Lee, have two daughters, Autumn Moran and Brittany Hickel.
