Resthaven Funeral Home was established by lifelong Sinton resident Yvonne Cantu-Moran in March 2007. Yvonne graduated Sinton High School and Commonwealth College of Funeral Service in Houston, Texas. She has worked extensively in the funeral industry since 1991. Yvonne was employed as a Funeral Director/Embalmer by Allison Funeral Services in Liberty, Texas, Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas and as Manager at Sterling Funeral Home in Dayton, Texas. Yvonne is the daughter of Guadalupe Cantu and the late Charlie Cantu. Yvonne and husband, Lee, have two daughters, Autumn and Brittany.
Resthaven Funeral Home specializes in personal and dignified funeral services, offers a large selection of monuments and accepts pre-paid funeral arrangements made at other funeral homes.  Mrs. Terri Jo Teltschik, 43, of Sinton, died Monday, June 25, 2007, at her residence. She was the youngest of five children born June 15, 1964 to Jerland and Elnor Freeman in Loraine, Texas. Terri Jo grew up in Roscoe, Texas, attended Roscoe schools, and graduated Roscoe High School in 1982. Terri Jo Freeman married Edwin Lamar Teltschik June 20, 1987 in Kerrville, Texas. She graduated TST Nursing School in Sweetwater, Texas in 1998. Mrs. Teltschik was currently employed as a nurse for Sinton ISD in Sinton, Texas. She was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Sinton, Texas. She was the mother of four children she adored and a good friend to all that knew her. Her loving demeanor and love of life made her a joy to be around. Terri Jo was loved by all, will never be forgotten, and will truly be missed by everyone who knew her.

Wilda Lynn Cunningham Theurer, 82, of Odem, Texas died Thursday, June 21, 2007, at her residence.
Born September 18, 1924 in Loraine, Texas to Wilburn Levi and Sabra E.Cunningham, she spent her early years in Corpus Christi, Texas and adult years in California. Ms. Theurer was the Manager of many apartment complexes in San Jose, California the duration of 40 years.

Alta Arletta Fuhrman formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, Wi. Age 83 went to be with her Lord and Savior June 8,2007. She was born Alta Arletta Matthews to George Alfred Matthews and Florence Edna (Palmer) Matthews October 29, 1923 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wi.
She married Norman Cornelius Fuhrman April 10, 1943 in Conway, So Carolina. They had two daughters.

Sr., 73 of Sinton, Texas died May 30, 2007 in a local hospital. He was
born in 1934 to the union of Lee Edwards Salone and Ivy Mae Mack in Georgetown, Texas, Mr. Salone
worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Sinton Independent School District
for over 30 years. He was a Baptist.

Jr., 63, of Sinton, Texas died May 29, 2007 in a local hospital.
Mr. Odom was a self-employed butcher, owned a BBQ restaurant, a lease
service, a daycare and most recently, Odom’s Gift Shop.
