2013027_1.jpgSarah D. Robledo, 90, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013. She was born August 8, 1922 to Rev. Santos and Raquel Cardona Mireles in Mexico.

Sarah married the love of her life, Gonzalo, in October 1960. For 52 years they raised their family and remained devoted to each other. Sarah was an educator for more than 30 years. She received her Masters Degree from Howard Payne University and Bachelors Degree from Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas.  She majored in English, but taught Spanish and bilingual classes. Sarah taught in Kingsville, Crystal City, Houston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, California, Germany and most recently Taft, where she retired.

2013025_1.jpgMaria Botello, 79, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, April 9, 2013. She was born in Sinton, Texas on January 31, 1934 to Jose and Manuela Galvan Rodriguez. Maria was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas.

Survivors include her son: Eusebio, Jr. (Yvonne) Botello of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Manuela (Frank) Rios and Dora Garcia both of Premont, Texas, Tina Munguia (Rick Reyna) of Corpus Christi, Texas, Esmeralda (Joel) Montelongo, Rose Mary Moreno, Lupe B. (Vicente) Garcia and Mari Gonzales all of Sinton, Texas; stepfather: Alejandro Galvan, Sr.; stepbrothers: Aniceto “Ted” Galvan and Alejandro “Alex Galvan, Jr. all of Italy, Texas; sisters: Beatrice Figueroa of Corpus Christi, Texas, Irene Carion, Audelia Garcia and Mary Lou Garcia, all of Sinton, Texas; 29 grandchildren and 54 great grandchildren.

2013024_1.jpgFlorence A. Bray peacefully passed into the arms of her Lord early Sunday morning, April 7, 2013, with her husband, son and grandson by her side. She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Norma Beavers and one grandchild Diane Beavers. She is survived by her husband, of fifty-one years, Julius Bray, one daughter Renie Engel, one son Buddy McDougald, step-children Julius Bray, Jr., Maxine Barnstable, Glen Bray and Loretta Boyd. Surviving grandchildren include Clifford McDougald, Dwayne and Donnie Beavers, Gregg Engel, Denise Robinson, Stacia Joseph, Tammy, Ronnie and Amy Bray. Other survivors include many nephews, nieces, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, April 10, 2013, from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A chapel service will be held Thursday, April 11, 2013, 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Milby officiating. Burial will follow at Sinton Cemetery, Sinton.

Survivors include sons: Manuel (Gracie) DeLeon of Corpus Christi, Texas and Rey Deleon of Taft, Texas; daughters: Ofelia D. (Kyle) Smith and Elma Deleon Cavazos of Sinton, Texas, Eloisa D. (Jesus) Moreno of Houston, Texas and Maria Elena DeLeon of Sinton, Texas; 27 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

2013026_1.jpgEnrique Gonzalez, 69, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. He was born on April 3, 1943 to Refugio and Luz Gutierrez Gonzalez who preceded him in death.
Enrique was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by  all.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, Eva Gonzalez of 50 years, children Enrique “Rick” Gonzalez (Anna Salas) of San Antonio, Senaida “Sandy” (Ernest Chapa) of Portland and Emilio Gonzalez of San Antonio, four grandchildren Erica Chapa (Issac) of Sanford, Florida and Joe Michael Montemayor (Iris) of Robstown, Julianna  and Victoria Salas of San Antonio, five great-grandchildren Eryana, Christopher and Yunique Gutierrez, Mia Chapa, Nevaeh Montemayor; three brothers Leo  Gonzalez of Hillsboro, Oregon and Ricardo Gonzalez of Milwaukee, Oregon, Refugio Gonzalez of Taft, two sisters Olga Castillo and Anna Reyna both of Corpus Christi, numerous nieces and nephews
