Juan J. Ibarra, a resident of Ft. Worth, Texas and maintenance mechanic of 12 years for Sara Lee Distributors, passed away January 22, 2009. He was 52.

Juan was born on July 4, 1956, in Reynosa, Tamps, Mexico, to Rafael and Paula Ibarra. He was a member of the Mexican Army and Marines.

Survivors include his wife Mary L. Ibarra of Ft. Worth, Texas; 4 sons: Michael, Mark and David, all of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Joel of Alvarado, Texas; one daughter: Amanda also of Ft. Worth; one brother: Guadalupe J. Ibarra of San Fernando, Tamps, Mexico; 3 grandchildren: Jay, Elijah and Melissa; numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his in-laws, Santos and Jose "Chema" Perez.

Visitation began Saturday, January 24, 2009. A Prayer service was held Sunday, January 25, 2009, 7:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton, Texas. The Funeral Service was Monday, January 26, 2009, 10:00 AM, at  Good News Baptist Church, St. Paul, Texas. Burial followed at the John J. Welder Memorial Cemetery, St. Paul, Texas.  Pallbearers were Michael Perez, Joel Perez, Mark Perez, David Perez, Ismael Perez and Joe Perez.
