Fidel G. “Mil Amores” Longoria, 82, died Friday, July 10, 2009, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was born in Floresville on May 5, 1927 and lived in Sinton most his life where he was a farmer employed by 3 generations of the Houser Family.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Antonio Longoria and Tomasita Garza Longoria; his wife: Mercedes Longoria; two sons: Enrique Longoria and David Longoria; and daughter-in-law: Hope Longoria.

A rosary was held Monday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton.  Graveside Services were Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton. Pallbearers were Richard Longoria, Raul Longoria, Raul Longoria Jr, Jimmy Ernie Longoria, Juan Antonio Longoria, Isabel Tijerina Jr, Fred Longoria and Jose Longoria.

He is survived by his children: Richard Longoria of Chatanooga, Oklahoma; Raul (Dolores) Longoria of Bishop; Ofilia Bustillo of Sinton; 3 Sisters: Carmen Carbajales of Rockport, Maria Tijerina of Driscoll, Ester Espinoza of Sinton; 15 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
