Magdaleno “Mac” Ybarra, a retired truck driver for H & K Construction, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2009, with his family at his side. He was 78.

Survivors include his wife Enocencia Ybarra of Sinton; sons Magdaleno Jr and Greg Ybarra of Sinton, and Fidencio Naranjo; daughters Patsy Benchoff and Janie McCreless of Corpus Christi; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 25, 2009, 1:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, August 26, 2009, 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Burial to follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
