Frances Jasso Silva, a homemaker, passed away at home with her family by her side on April 12, 2010. She was 72.

Frances was born in Banquete, Texas on March 8, 1938 to Rosario and Emelia Soto Jasso. She spent most of her life in Sinton, TX.

Survivors include her husband Alfredo C. Silva of Sinton, TX; two sons: Freddy Silva and Alfredo Rene (Leticia Vazquez) Silva, both of Sinton, TX; three daughters: Frances (Arturo) Saldana of Sinton, TX, Janie Lee (Lupe) Martinez of Beeville, TX, and Irma (Mario) Martinez of Sinton, TX; three brothers: Calistro (Angelita) Jasso of Odem, TX, Joe (Mary) Jasso of Sinton, TX and Blas (Isby) Jasso of Lubbock, TX; two sisters: Janie Jasso of Odem, TX and Christina Rodriguez of St. Paul, TX; nine grandchildren: Mario Martinez, Chelsea Martinez, Mia Nichol Silva, Maria Silva, A.J. Saldana, Kimberly Saldana, Mark Saldana, Daniel Martinez and Diego Martinez.

Preceding in death are her parents, three brothers, one sister and in-laws Ascension and Nicomendez Silva.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, April 14, 2010, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue Thursday, April 15, 2010, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. A rosary will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010, 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 16, 2010, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton with Father Shaji Varghese as celebrant. Burial to follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
