Hilda P. Adams, a retired employee of the State of Texas Health Department, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2010 with family at her side.
Hilda was born in Goliad, Texas on November 11, 1935 to Catarino and Olivia Pena Perales. She was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas.
Survivors include her husband: Gonzalo S. Adams, Sr. of Sinton, TX; four sons; Gonzalo (Olga) Adams, Jr. of Corpus Christi, TX, Arnold (Rose) Adams, Orlando (Irma) Adams, and Edward (Shannon) Adams, all of Sinton, TX; seven brothers: Reynaldo Perales of San Diego, CA, George Vega of Victoria, TX, Gilbert Perales of Seguin, TX, John Perales of Pleasant Hill, OR, Teodoro Perales of Greencastle, IN, Catarino Perales, Jr. of El Paso, TX, Oscar Perales of Parma, ID; one sister: Rose Conally of Oak Ridge, OR; one cousin: Robert Leal of Corpus Christi, TX; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Preceding in death are her parents and a daughter, Pearl Adams.

Visitation began Friday, August 20, 2010, 2:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary was held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday, August 21, 2010, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton with Father Shaji Varghese as celebrant. Burial followed at Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
