In 1944, she married her high school sweetheart, Terrell Cobb, and she and Terrell lived and farmed in the Sinton area for nearly 40 years. Mildred and Terrell retired to Portland in 1992 and lived there since. Mildred is predeceased by her husband, Terrell, whom she shared 65 years of love and companionship. Mildred was a gifted artist and writer. After Terrell's death, she wrote, "I am not without Terrell. I believe what the heart has once owned, it will never be lost. What
you are is God's gift to you, what you make of yourself is your gift to God." Mildred was a gift to all that knew her. Special thanks to Dr. Lee Sang, the staff at the Pavilion Assisted Living Center and Coastal Palms Nursing Center for the last 19 months of continuous love, care and support for Mildred and Terrell.
