Raymond Uvaldo Cantu, Jr, 61, a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas died May 16, 2007. He was born February 10, 1946 to Raymond and Genevieve Delgado Cantu in Sinton, Texas. Mr. Cantu served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver currently employed by Ram Carriers. He was a Catholic.
Visitation will begin Friday, May 18, 2007, 11:00 AM, Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton, Texas. A rosary will be recited May 18, 2007, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 19, 2007, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sinton, Texas with Father Paul Rajareegam as celebrant. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem, Texas. Survivors include his wife: Margaret G. Cantu of Sinton, Texas; 2 sons: Raymond (Sonia) Cantu, III of Corpus Christi, Texas and Kevin Keith (Rabamba) Cantu of Maple Valley, Washington; one daughter, Mary Frances (Richard) Frausto of Sinton, Texas; 3 brothers; Roland Cantu and Rene (Laura) Cantu of Ft. Worth, Texas, Rupert Cantu of Sinton, Texas; one sister, Rosebel “Bella” Cantu of Sinton, Texas; 7 grandchildren. His parents precede him in death. Services under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton, Texas. |
