Elia P. Vasquez passed away December 27, 2010. She was 52.
Elia was born on May 17, 1958 in Sinton, Texas to Juan and Francisca Gonzales Pina. She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Sinton.

Survivors include her husband: Jessie D. Vasquez of Sinton, TX; two sons: Leon (Roxanne) Vasquez of Colorado and Julian Vasquez of Plano, TX; a daughter: Elizabeth Vasquez of Plano, TX; five brothers: Patrick (Annie) Pina of Amarillo, TX, Carlos (Adela) Pina of Plano, TX, LeeRoy (Naomi) Pina of Sinton, TX, Rudy Pina of Plano, TX and Robert Pina of Houston, TX; two sisters: Lydia (Armando) Quilimaco of Sinton, TX and Deana (Baldemar) Flores of Plano, TX; five grandchildren; and an aunt: Rosita (Guadalupe) Martinez of Sinton, Texas.  Preceding in death are her parents;  sister Angelica Trevino; brother Oscar Pina; and grandparents Enemencio and Julia Ramos.
Visitation began Tuesday, December 28, 2010, 3:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton, Texas. A rosary was held Wednesday, December 29, 2010, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, December 30, 2010, 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton with Father Shaji Varghese as celebrant. Burial followed at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton, Texas.
