Paulino R. Tijerina, a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas passed away July 17, 2011 with his family by his side. He was 72. Paulino was born June 22, 1939 in St. Paul, Texas.  He was a retired employee for the City of Sinton .

Survivors include his wife, Esperanza Tijerina of Sinton, Texas; three sons: Robert Tijerina, Lino Tijerina (Sonya) and Paulino Tijerina Jr., all of Sinton, Texas: 3 grandchildren: Adam, Andrea and Michael Tijerina, all Sinton, Texas. His parents, Juan and Herlinda Tijerina, his brothers and a sister preceded Paulino in death.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, July 20, 2011, 12:00 noon at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, July 21, 2011, 10:00 AM, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton with Father Shaji Varghese as celebrant. Burial will follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
