Alberto “Beto” Cavazos, 59 died January 22, 2012. Beto was born on April 7, 1952 in Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Alberto and Juanita Carrion Cavazos, Sr.

Survivors include sons: Jose Gonzales, Juan Gonzales, Reynaldo Gonzales Jesus Gonzales and Roland Alvarado, all of Taft, Texas; daughters: Ida Carrillo and Melissa Gonzales, both of Taft, Texas and Ruby Gonzales of Skidmore, Texas; brothers: Mario Cavazos of Zapata, Texas, Hector Cavazos, Jose Maria Cavazos, Pedro Cavazos and Victor Cavazos all of Monterrey, Mexico; sisters: Olga Lidia Cavazos Deanita Cavazos and Ludivina Cavazos, all of Mexico; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Beto is preceded in death by his wife Candelaria Gonzales Cavazos and his parents Alberto and Juanita Cavazos.
Visitation began Tuesday, January 24, 2012, 1:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary was held that evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. A graveside service was held Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Taft Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
