Maria de la Luz Cano, 63, died January 16, 2012. Maria was born in Mexico City, Mexico on August 31, 1948 to Jesus and Francisca Cuevas Chagoya.
Survivors include three sons: Jose J. (Eva) Cano of Taft, Texas, Francisco J. (Sonia) Cano and Antonio J. Cano both of California; daughter: Susana (Joey) Larman of Gaithersburg, MD; grandchildren: Ruben Cano, Ricardo Cano, Michael Cano, Ashley Cano, Annette Cano, Amy Cano, Anthony Jake Cano, James Ryan Cano, Kimberlyn Larman, Selena Larman, Aaran Cano and Jose Cano, Jr.

Preceding in death is her husband Jose T. Cano and her parents Jesus and Francisca Chagoya.
Visitation will begin Wednesday, January 25, 2012, 5:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. A rosary will follow the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 26, 2012, 10:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Chapel, Burial followed at  Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
