Antonio “Tony” Diaz, 25, of Sinton, Texas passed away Friday, August 10, 2007.
He graduated Sinton High School in 2000 and was employed by Diaz Welding & Lease Service as an oil field gauger.  Tony was a Manager & Coach for Sinton Little League, New Bay Area Football League and Sinton For Youth.
He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend to all.  His laughter and love of life will live in our hearts always.  Tony touched so many lives through his passion for coaching and love for the children.
Survivors include his parents: Eliborio and Angela Diaz of Sinton, Texas; 2 sisters: Belinda (Albert) Medellin of Austin, Texas, Veronica (Albert) Castillo of Sinton, Texas; his paternal grandfather:  Antonio Diaz of Durango, Mexico; 6 nephews: DeRick, Dylan, Austin, Adrian, Gavin and Nicholas; 1 niece: Lauren; and his beloved girlfriend: Mary Jacqueline Ramirez. Maternal grandparents, Vicente and Alba Marin and paternal grandmother, Concepcion Diaz, precede him in death.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, August 15, 2007, 12 noon, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton, Texas and will continue through Thursday, 9 AM to 9 PM, at the funeral home.  Rosary will be recited Wednesday and Thursday, August 15 and 16, 2007. 7:00 PM at the funeral home.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 17, 2007, 10:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Church in Sinton, Texas with Father Paul Rajareegam as celebrant.  Interment will follow in Sinton Cemetery, Sinton, Texas.
Pallbearers will be CJ Vasquez, Gabe Ochoa, David Standlee, Adrian Sepeda, Orlando Gutierrez and DeRick Castro.  Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Castillo, Jr., Moses Constante, Henry Trevino, Danny Rosenbaum, David Ramirez, Javier DeLeon, Aaron Martinez, Lupe Lozano, Gene Kasprzyk and Paul Ynostrosa.
