Antonio DeLeon, Sr., a retired farmer and Catholic, died Friday, August 17, 2007.  He was 80.
Survivors include 8 sons: Aurelio DeLeon of Lubbock, Tony DeLeon, Jr. of Mathis, Eric DeLeon and Mario DeLeon of Corpus Christi, Lee DeLeon of Austin, Reynaldo DeLeon of Wichita Falls, Julian Gallardo of Sinton,  and Shawn DeLeon of New York; 4 daughters: Penny Vallejo of Mathis, Corina DeLeon of Runge, Lupe DeLeon of Aransas Pass and Noemi Castro of Sinton; 36 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial to follow in John J. Welder Memorial Cemetery in St. Paul.
