Elvira Almanza Trevino, 72, passed away August 29, 2007.

Mrs. Trevino was born in Fulshear, Texas to Jose and Pauline Almanza on May 30, 1935. She owned and operated E & T Taxi Service for more than ten years. She was a Catholic and a resident of Sinton for thirty years.
A rosary was held Friday, August 31, at 7:00 PM. Funeral services were held Saturday, September 1, 9:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Church in Sinton with Father Paul Rajareegam officiating. Burial followed at Eternal Rest Cemetery.

Mrs. Trevino is survived by two daughters, Pauline (Leonard) Gonzales of Rockport and Guadalupe (Robert Cruz) Martinez of Sinton; six sons, Jimmy Cavazos, Joe Cavazos, Robert (Nancy) Cavazos, Guillermo “Willie” (Mimi) Martinez, all of Sinton, Eddie Cavazos of Corpus Christi, Ernie Cavazos of Gregory; two brothers, Pepe (Julie) Almanza of San Antonio, and Martin (Reyna) Almanza of Houston; one sister, Lupe Rodela of Houston; 28 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
