JF Lewis, a rancher, former Deputy Sheriff, and World War II Veteran, passed away December 5, 2007. He was 80.
Survivors include his wife, Adriana A. Lewis, of Sinton; four sons, Sterling Gene (Mary) Lewis, of San Antonio, Michael (Sheila) Lewis, of Ft. Worth, Aubrey (Jackie) Lewis, of Houston, David (Sheree) Lewis, of Portland; one stepson, Domingo (Amanda) Reyes, of  Sinton; two daughters, Linda (Troy) Theiss and Sheila (Mike) Walden, both of Rockport; one sister, Bonnie (Jack) Johnson, of Knox City; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Family received friends Thursday, December 6, 2007, from 6:00-9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. Burial was private.
