Jesusita Garcia Perez, a former employee of the San Patricio County Early Childhood Development Center in Sinton for more than twenty years, passed away Monday, March 10, 2008. She was 56.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Perez, Sr.; two sons, Mark Garcia and Ray Perez, Jr.; a daughter, Marie (Chris) Luis; her mother, Micaela Garcia; three brothers, Milton (Nora) Garcia, Joe (Gloria) Garcia, and Steven Garcia; one sister Elda Garcia; and six grandchildren, Ethan, Ray, Cody, Mario, Alyssa and Addison, all of Odem, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her father, Manuel Garcia, Jr. and a sister, Estella Garcia.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at 11:00 AM, with a rosary at 7:00 PM, at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 13, 2008, 1:00 PM, at Sacred Heart Church in Odem, Texas with Father Isaias Estepa as celebrant. Burial will follow in the San Pedro Cemetery of Odem, Texas.
