Mrs. Santos Lopez Reyna, a former Sales Associate employed by Goodman Dry Goods in Sinton more than 30 years, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at a local nursing center with her family at her side. Santitos was born April 7, 1923 to Ponciano and Francisca Lopez in Sinton, Texas. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton, Texas, a Guadalupana and Crusillista.

Survivors include two sons: Gonzalo (Maria) Reyna and Eloy (Rosalinda) Reyna, all of Sinton, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 7 Great­Grandchildren. Her husband, Blas Reyna, Jr., her parents, and a brother, Desiderio Lopez precede her in death.

Visitation wil begin Friday, May 9, 2008, 1 :00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton, Texas. A rosary will be recited Friday evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 10, 2008, 2:00 PM, Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton, Texas with Father Shaji Varghese as celebrant. Burial to follow at Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton, Texas.

The Reyna family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Father Shaji Varghese of Sinton, Texas, Father Francisco Lopez of Taft, Texas, Father Jerry Zurovetz of Portland, Texas, Trisun Coastal Palms Nursing Center in Portland, Texas and the staff at Lighthouse Hospice for all the love, support and care you extended our beloved mother, Santos Reyna, during her brief illness. We will always be grateful to you.
