George Martinez Flores, a former truck driver of more than 30 years, passed away May 13, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas. He was 58.

George was born to Anselmo and Consuelo Flores on November 11, 1949, in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Formerly of Corpus Christi, he lived in Sinton for 28 years. George served his country in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Isabel G. Flores; a son, George Anthony Flores; a daughter, Patricia G. Flores, all of Sinton, Texas; 2 brothers, Julio Flores and Anselmo Jr. (Helen) Flores, of Corpus Christi, Texas; 1 sister, Rosa Hilda Homchosky of Kansas; 1 grandson, Ayvan Mikael Flores of Sinton, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation was held Friday, May 16, 2008, at the New Harvest Transformation Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Funeral services followed at 7:00 PM under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home. Burial services were private.
