Robe G. Villarreal, a lifelong Sinton resident currently residing in Houston, Texas passed away July 31, 2008 in a Houston hospital.  He was 49.

Survivors include his mother and step-father: Aurora and Cruz Quintero of Houston; a son: Dwight, of Ennis, Texas; a daughter: April, of Louisiana; a brother: Andy (JoAnn) Villarreal of Lancaster, Texas; 6 sisters: Diana Martinez, Norine Sanchez and Tillie Guerra, all of Sinton; Sylvia Wood, Virginia Villarreal and Jaquie Martinez, all of Ennis, Texas; 3 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Robe is preceded in death by his father, Juan P. Villarreal, and brother, Raul Villarreal.

Visitation was held Monday, August 4, 2008 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton.  A rosary was recited Monday, 1:30 PM, followed by Christian Rites Service at the funeral home.  Burial was private.
