Enrique “Ricky” Hernandez, 45, a lifelong resident of Sinton, died November 9, 2009. Ricky was a self-employed handyman who worked for Joe’s Exxon of Sinton.
Preceding him in death are his mother Santos R. Hernandez; brother Santiago “Jimmy” Hernandez; and sister Guadalupe Hernandez Gonzales.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 11, 2009, and Thursday, November 12, 2009, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home. A rosary will be held Thursday evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, November 13, 2009, 10:00 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sinton with Father Shaji Varghese officiating. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery in Sinton.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Casarez, Jr., Joel Mendoza, Randy Hernandez, Raymond Hernandez, Jr., Kevin Hernandez and Joe Hernandez, IV.
Survivors include his father: Jose Hernandez, Jr. of Sinton; four brothers: Raul (Maria) Hernandez of Houston, Joe (Diana) Hernandez, Roger (Gloria) Hernandez and Raymond (Mary) Hernandez, all of Sinton; two sisters: Juanita (Augustine) Mendoza, Sr. of Taft and Anna (Jimmy) Cordova of Victoria; numerous nieces and nephews.
