Sinton - Argelia Sosa Gonzales, 87, passed away October 2, 2015. Argelia was born in Raymondville, Texas on March 24, 1928 to Jose and Maria (Pizano) Sosa. She was a retired principal secretary for Sinton ISD.

Argelia is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Gonzales, Sr. and son, Raymundo Gonzales.

Survivors include two sons: Domingo Gonzales, Jr. (Sylvia) of McKinney, Texas and Joe Gonzales of Sinton, Texas; three daughters: Lupe Losoya (Leo) of San Antonio, Texas; Yolanda Maldonado (Vidal) of Austin, Texas; Frances Trevino (Ray) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Janie Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers: Hector Sosa  and Jose Sosa of Mercedes, Texas and Lupe Sosa (Mauri) of Weslaco, Texas; sister: Estella Barbosa of Mercedes, Texas; 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Rosary will be held in the chapel at 7:00 PM the same day. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton with Father Patrick Serna as celebrant. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.

 Pallbearers will be Joseph Losoya, John Vidal Maldonado, Paul Trevino, Jason Gonzales, Joe Eric Gonzales and Matthew DeLaGarza. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Losoya, Leo Losoya, Jr., Michael Maldonado, Steven Gonzales and Andrew Gonzales.
