Taft – Armando Elizondo Rodriguez passed away November 19, 2017 at his home.  He was 72.

Armando was born in San Patricio County, Texas on February 6, 1945 to Melecio Rodriguez, Jr. and Guadalupe (Elizondo) Rodriguez.  He was a lifelong resident of Taft, Texas and a retired truck driver.

Armando is preceded in death by his daughter: Diana Hinojosa; parents: Guadalupe and Alfredo Martinez; and grandparents: Mauro and Dolores Elizondo.

Survivors include his sons: David Rodriguez of Taft, Texas; John Chris Rodriguez of Garland, Texas; and Armando Rodriguez, Jr. of Garland, Texas; daughters: Gracie Lopez of Taft, Texas and Petra Ann Rodriguez of Garland, Texas; 10 grandchildren;  brothers: Alfredo Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; Alfredo Martinez, Jr. (Sylvia); sisters: Anita Sierra, Maria Martinez (Ben), and Margarita Nanez (Israel).

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017, 8:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Taft, Texas.  A private burial will be held at a later date.
