Sinton – Audona “Donna” Adams Salas passed away September 24, 2016 with her loving family by her side.  She was 87.

Mrs. Salas was born in Sinton, Texas on December 6, 1928 to Leocadio D. and Andrea (Sandoval) Adams. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas.

Mrs. Salas is preceded in death by her husband: Luther V. Salas; granddaughter: Andrea Tijerina; her parents and eight siblings.

Survivors include son; Luther James Salas of Sinton, Texas; daughters: Stella Alvarez of Laredo, Texas; Susan S. Rodriguez (Jessie) of Sinton, Texas; Sandra S. Segovia (Salvador) of Sinton, Texas; Sonya S. Tijerina (Lino) of Sinton, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, September 27, 2016, 12:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, September 28, 2016, 9:00 AM, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton, with Father Patrick Serna as celebrant. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Rodriguez, Rafael “R.D.” Rodriguez, Shane Segovia, Adam Tijerina, Michael Tijerina, Javier Alvarez, Noah Hinojosa and Jude Hinojosa.
