Sinton - Christopher Perez Tobar passed away June 10, 2017. He was 31. Christopher was born in Taft, Texas on December 16, 1985 to Teodoro and Julia (Perez) Tobar. He had been a resident of Victoria, Texas since 2004 and formerly Sinton, Texas. He was currently a student at the University of Houston in Victoria.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father: Teodoro Tobar; and grandmothers: Maria Silvas and Tomasa J. Tobar.

Survivors include his mother: Julie Perez of Victoria, Texas; brothers: Ruben Tobar (Delinda) of Houston, Texas and Michael Tobar (Jennifer) of Sinton, Texas; sisters: Jolynn Velasquez of Victoria, Texas; Cynthia Tobar and Sadie Perez of Dallas, Texas.

Visitation will begin Monday, June 19, 2017, 1:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, June 20, 2017, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
