Sinton – Cipriano Landin Maldonado passed away January 8, 2017. He was 78.

Cipriano was born in Sinton, Texas on March 4, 1938 to Antonio and Teresa (Landin) Maldonado. Cipriano was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas where he owned and operated Maldonado and Maldonado Trucking Company and later retired.

Cipriano is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Teresa Maldonado.

Survivors include Cipriano’s wife: Flora Maldonado of Sinton, Texas; sons: Cipriano Gabriel Maldonado of California; Michael Maldonado of Sinton, Texas; Cipriano Patrick Maldonado of Sinton, Texas; Joseph Maldonado of Sinton, Texas; and Rene Maldonado of San Antonio, Texas; daughters: Naomi Gomez of California; Christine Maldonado of California; Sonya Archuleta of Sinton, Texas and Anna Bell Maldonado of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers: Tony Maldonado of Sinton, Texas; Ramon Maldonado of Falfurrias, Texas, Freddy Maldonado of Sinton, Texas and Richard Anthony Maldonado of California; sister: Selvia Morin (Lupio) of Sinton, Texas; 35 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Friday, January 13, 2017, 5:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary will follow that evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Chapel services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017, 10:00 AM, at the funeral home with Pastor Cipriano Maldonado and Pastor Patrick Maldonado officiating. Burial will be private.
