Aransas Pass – Earnest Ray Kinikin, passed away November 19, 2017.  He was 68.

Earnest was born on July 17, 1949 to Delva Ray and Laverne (Ellis) Kinikin in Dumas, Texas.  He is preceded in death by his son, Mitchel Kinikin; his dad, Delva Ray Kinikin; his brother, Richard Kinikin and sisters:  Wilma, Carol and Katherine.

Survivors include his wife, Letha (Cosper) Kinikin of Aransas Pass; son: Preston (Laurel) Kinikin of San Antonio, Texas and daughter:  Rebekah (Jason) Durham of Aransas Pass, Texas. He is also survived by his mother: Laverne; sister: Cindy and brothers: Gary (Linda) and Tommy.  He also has 5 beautiful grandchildren:  Symone, Kylie, Bryce, Payton and Ethan.

Earnest really loved life and family.  He especially loved his God Jehovah and talking about Him and the many promises for mankind; including the resurrection when we will see and welcome back our loved ones from the dead.  He also enjoyed other things, such as writing poems, singing and playing golf.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to New Century Hospice for all their kindness and help during this difficult time.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Jehovah Witness Hall at 1649 W. DeBerry in Aransas Pass, Texas.  Burial will be private.
