Aransas Pass- Eligio “Eli” Dela Cruz Jr. passed away June 13, 2017. He was 66.

Eligio was born in Georgetown, Texas on November 7, 1946 to Sally and Eligio (Miranda) Dela Cruz.

He was a resident of Aransas Pass, Texas for 23 years.

Eli was employed by The University of Kingsville and worked as a Professional Engineer. He later retired at the age of 65, a combination of 20 years total. 

Eli is preceded in death by his father, Eligio Dela Cruz.

Survivors include his wife: Orie Dela Cruz; son: E.J. Dela Cruz of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughters: Katherine Jones of Aransas Pass. sisters: Alice Dela Cruz of Georgetown, Texas; brothers: George Dela Cruz of Georgetown, Texas; Arthur Dela Cruz of Austin Texas; Richard Dela Cruz of Roundrock, Texas; Louis Dela Cruz of Washington State; sisters: Alice Dela Cruz of Aransas Pass.
