Woodsboro – Eugenio Cano passed away July 4, 2016. He was 60.

Eugenio was born in Beeville, Texas on November 15, 1955 to Santiago and Gabriella (Contreras) Cano. He was a resident of Woodsboro, Texas for the past three years and formerly of Refugio, Texas. Eugenio was self-employed as a paint and body repairman for more than 30 years.

Eugenio is preceded in death by his parents: Santiago and Gabriella Cano; son: Fernando Cano; and sisters: Dolores and Susie.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Cano of Woodsboro, Texas; sons: Gene (Michelle) Cano, Jr. of Houston, Texas and Roy (Faith) Cano of Houston, Texas; daughters: Shannon Cano and Lucinda Cano; 10 grandchildren; brothers: Juan Cano of Beeville, Texas and Guadalupe (Rosa) Cano of Victoria, Texas; sisters: Leonor Cano of Beeville, Texas; Aurelia Gonzales of Beeville, Texas and Cecilia Perez of Refugio, Texas.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 9, 2016, 11:00 AM, at St. James Catholic Church in Refugio, Texas.
