Sinton – Guadalupe “Blue” Z. Gonzalez passed away October 11, 2017. He was 63.

Blue was born in Sinton, Texas on July 10, 1954 to Guadalupe (Zuniga) and Benito L. Gonzalez. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton and graduate of Sinton High School. Blue was formerly employed in construction. He worked for the County of San Patricio and H&K Construction.

Preceding Blue in death are his parents: Benito and Guadalupe Zuniga; brothers: George, Gilbert, Guillermo “Willie”, Genaro and Jesus Gonzales.

Survivors include his wife: Luz Rodriguez of Sinton, Texas; 3 daughters: Anastasia Gonzales (Richard Delossantos) and Stefanie Gonzalez (Justin), all of Portland, Texas; Elizabeth Lozano (Jeremy) of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers: Graviel Gonzales (Lourdes) of Kileen, Texas and Benito Gonzales (Nelda) of Austin, Texas; sisters: Gracie Castillo (Henry) of Buda, Texas; Geneva Rodriguez and Giselda “Chela” DeLeon (Hector), all of Corpus Christi, Texas; 7 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, October 13, 2017, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Sinton, Texas. Visitation will follow, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home in Sinton, Texas. A holy rosary will be recited the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date.
