Hipolito “Boy” Ramirez passed away October 20, 2016. He was 59 years old.

Boy was born September 13, 1957 in Robstown, Texas to Trinidad and Rosa (Maldonado) Ramirez. He was a resident of Odem, Texas for 20 years and former resident of Robstown. Boy was a Foreman employed by Mobley Industrial. He was a hard-working man and talented painter/sandblaster. Boy was a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, and he loved to gamble. He will always be remembered for being straight-forward, honest and for the love he had for his family. You will be greatly missed, Boy.

Preceding in death are his father: Trinidad Ramirez; brother: Humberto Ramirez; and mother-in-law: Paula Pesina.

Boy is survived by his wife of 20 years: Aurora Ramirez of Odem, Texas; his mother: Rosa Ramirez of Robstown, Texas; brothers: Trinidad Jr. (Andrea) Ramirez of Calallen, Texas; Reynaldo Ramirez of Robstown, Texas and Jimmy (Ofelia) Ramirez of Banquete, Texas; sisters: Susie (Gilbert) Pena and Delma (Carlos) Guerra, all of Robstown, Texas; special brother-in-law: Leo (Esperanza) Juarez of Odem, Texas; special nephews: Leo III, Javier, and Michael Juarez; Ruben Cruz; Daniel Guerra, Gilbert Pena, Jr. and Juan Gallegos; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will begin Sunday, October 23, 2016, 4:00 PM at Sacred Heart Church in Odem, Texas. A holy rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, October 24, 2016, 12:00 noon at Sacred Heart Church, Odem. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem. Pallbearers will be Leo P. Juarez, III, Javier P. Juarez, Michael Juarez, Frank Marroquin, Daniel Guerra, Gilbert Pena, Jr. and David Garza. Honorary Pallbearer will be Eugene Torres.
