Odem – Jimmie “Jimbo” Phillips, Jr. passed away August 13, 2017. He was 51.

Jimbo was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on July 18, 1966 to Jimmy Leon and Carolyn Ann (Parmaley) Phillips.

Jimbo was a graduate of Calallen High School. He was a Planner/Scheduler employed by ITC (Innovative Turnaround Controls) in Corpus Christi. He was a resident of Odem, Texas most of his life.

Preceding Jimbo in death is his brother: Jerrell Phillips.

Survivors include his wife: Randi Phillips of Odem, Texas; a daughter: Stephanie Michelle Gonzales (Angel Jude) of Belton, Texas; a son: Cody Lane Phillips of Flour Bluff, Texas; parents: Jimmy and Carolyn Phillips of Odem, Texas; brothers: Johnny Phillips (Linda) of Big Spring, Texas and Allen Phillips of Florida; sisters: Tammy and Trudy Phillips, both of Odem, Texas and Theresa Phillips of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Jude Christian and Annabelle Rose Gonzales; and numerous nephews.

Visitation will begin Thursday, August 17, 2017, 1:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 18, 2017, 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Odem.
