Lubbock – John David Cass died November 22, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas. He was 49. John was born in Frankfurt, Germany on December 19, 1967. He graduated from Odem High School and his greatest pride was graduating from Texas A&M (class of ’90). He worked in the Agriculture Industry. John is survived by two sons: Collin Cass of Brenham and Braxton Cass of Mathis; his parents: Joe and Phyllis Cass of Odem; a brother: Jay (LeAnne) Cass of Odem; John is also survived by 1 niece: Codi and 3 nephews: Dustin, Casey and Kevin; the mother of his children, Carolyn Messer Duis; fiancée: Julie Blair Little; and Julie’s sons: Kaden Bradford and Dawson Little. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 1, 2017, 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM.
