Corpus Christi - Joseph Dudas passed away peacefully March 17, 2017. He was 90.
Joseph was born in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania on May 2, 1926 to Joseph and Eva (Zelinsky) Dudas. He was a Master Carpenter by trade in Westchester County, New York. Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a WWII Veteran. He was a resident of Corpus Christi, Texas for the past two and a half years and formerly Danbury, Connecticut.
Preceding Joseph in death is his wife: Katherine Dudas; and brothers: Dominick John and Stanley Dudas.
Survivors include daughters: Karen Dudas and Donna Dudas, both of Corpus Christi, Texas; grandchildren: Kyle Conlea (Ashley) and Matthew Bartlett (Lindsay); and great-grand dogs: Jobi, Jinx and Dolly.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017, 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A holy rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 24, 2017, 11:00 AM, at Most Precious Blood Church, Corpus Christi. Burial will follow at 1:00 PM in Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, Corpus Christi. Pallbearers will be Kyle Conlea, Matthew Bartlett, Vincent Duhon, Eric Stern, Kenneth McKinzey, Kenneth Watts, Moises Espinoza and Barron Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Vincent Conlea and Sylus Conlea.

The Dudas family invites their guests to attend a luncheon in honor of Joseph Dudas immediately following the graveside service at Luciano’s Restaurant located at 1821 S. Alameda Street in Corpus Christi.
