Odem – Juan F. Casas passed away December 2, 2016. He was 63.

Juan was born in Sinton, Texas on January 3, 1953. He was a resident of Pasadena, Texas for 34 years and formerly of Odem, Texas. Juan was a Diesel Mechanic for 40 years currently employed by Enterprise Transportation in Baytown, Texas.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents: Gregorio and Isabel Rocha; in-laws: Bonifacio and Elida Romero; and uncle: Aurelio Casas.

Survivors include his wife: Lucia R. Casas of Pasadena, Texas; daughter: Amber Leal (Abel) of Pasadena; adopted son: Darwin Romero of Channelview, Texas; brother: Carlos Casas of Pasadena, Texas; sisters: Maria Garcia (Jesus) of Odem, Texas and Anita Payton (John) of Middleburg, Florida; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will begin Friday, December 9, 2016, 5:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. A rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 10, 2016, 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church in Odem with Father Isaias Estepa as celebrant. Burial will follow in San Pedro Cemetery, Odem.
