Rockport – Kathleen Julia Rogers passed away December 20, 2017. She was 90.

Kathleen was born in North Adams, Massachusetts on April 5, 1927 to Hart A. and Catherine (Murphy) Rice. Kathleen had been a resident of South Texas since 2013 and previously a winter Texan in the valley for several years. She formerly was employed as a receptionist at a hotel.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her daughter: Virginia Rogers; parents: Hart and Catherine Rice; two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include Kathleen’s husband: George Rogers of Rockport, Texas: sons: Douglas A Rogers (Rebbie) of Hawaii and George F. Rogers of Benington, VT; daughter: Kathleen Rogers of Fulton, Texas; three grandchildren; brothers: Tom Rice (Helen) of Tempe, Arizona and Billy Rice (Debbie) of Lee, MA; sisters: Nancy Bassi of Adams, MA; Dorothy Rice of Adams, MA and Virginia Farmer of Florida.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, December 31, 2017, 3:00 PM at New Beginnings Ministries Church located at 123 S. Doughty in Rockport, Texas.
