Corpus Christi – Laura Van De Putte passed away August 4, 2017. She was 77.

Laura was born in Chatham, Canada, New Brunswick on June 29, 1940 to Ernest and Marion (Lloyd) Jenkins. She owned and operated several small businesses throughout her lifetime.

Laura is preceded in death by her parents: Ernest and Marion Jenkins.

Survivors include a brother: George (Leola) Jenkins of Canada; sisters: Lola (John) Miller and Marilyn (Vic) Manuel of Canada; eleven nieces and nephews; and friend and caretaker Cheri Green.

A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017, 10:30 AM at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery, Taft.
