Marvin was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on November 12, 1954. He was an Operator employed by Elementis Chromium more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by parents; his brother Calvin Johnson; and sister Lonnie Isaacks.
Survivors include his wife: Patsy Johnson of Sinton, Texas; a son: Jacob Johnson (Lana) of Mathis, Texas; a daughter: Natalie Hopkins (Richard) of Sinton, Texas; two brothers: Walton Johnson (Serelda) of Mountain View, Arkansas and Harvey Haskett (Debbie) of Rockdale, Texas; a sister: Clarice Droughton of Houston, Texas; 6 grandchildren: Mason, Meghan and Ella Hopkins; Krystle and Kolby Champion; Katina Morse (Billy); 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015, 11:00 AM at new Beginnings Fellowship in Sinton, Texas. Private burial services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
