Sinton – Penny L. Shedd passed away May 27, 2017 following a short illness with her loving family by her side. She was 61.
Penny was born in Sinton, Texas on November 2, 1955 to S.A. and Ruby (Kinne) Lawson.

Penny attended Skidmore schools and married the love of her life, Ronnie Shedd, when she was a Senior in High School. She was currently employed as a Title Examiner with Rockport Abstract & Title for 20 years, and formerly employed by Northshore Title Company 25 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Shedd; father: S.A. Lawson; and grandmothers: Ruby Kinne and Nina Lawson.

Survivors include her daughter: Rhonda Shedd of Sinton, Texas; Jamie Brown and grandchildren Madison and Mackenzie Brown of Sinton, Texas; mother: Ruby Lawson of Sinton, Texas; brothers: Johnny Lawson (Becky) of Taft, Texas and Sam Lawson (Darla) of Sinton, Texas; sister: Betty Wood of Sinton, Texas; mother-in-law: Evelyn Sinast of Taft, Texas; brothers-in-law: Mike Shedd, Ricky Shedd and Steve Shedd, all of Taft, Texas; sisters-in-law: Catherine Manges of Floresville, Texas and Becky Nelson of Fredericksburg, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, May 31, 2017, 11:00 AM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The funeral service will follow, 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

The family of Penny L. Shedd would like to thank the Williams family, the ICU Staff at Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital and Amanda & Pat Squires for the love and care extended to our beloved Penny.
