R.D. Johnston, 90, passed away July 4, 2015. He was born in Camden, Arkansas on September 15, 1924 to James Claude and Flora Mae (McLemore) Johnston. R.D. proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a WWII Veteran. He was a retired petroleum truck driver and was currently a resient of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Sinton, Texas.

Survivors include R.D.'s wife of 68 years: Joyce Johnston of Corpus Christi, Texas; son: George William Johnston of Sinton, Texas; and sister: Frances Ratliff. All services will be private. Arrangements and care entrusted to Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton.
