Sinton - R.L. “Bob” Mueller passed away November 5, 2017. He was 84. R.L. was born in Rowena, Texas on December 14, 1932 to Alfred Robert and Annie Leigh (Broughton) Mueller. He was a resident of Sinton since 1957, but spent his younger years in Westheimer and Yorktown and graduated in San Antonio, Texas.              He proudly served in the United States Navy.  R.L. retired from the Sinton Post Office after almost 40 years as a postal clerk.

R.L. is preceded in death by his loving wife: Joetta “Jo” Mueller; parents: Alfred and Annie Mueller; and grandson: Philip Cornish.

Survivors include his son: Robert Mueller (Carolyn) of La Porte, Texas; daughter: Vicki Cornish (John) of Victoria, Texas; 4 grandchildren: J.D. Cornish (Brandon); Michael Cornish; Brandi Mueller (Heidi); Wayne Mueller (Casey); 5 great-grandchildren: Jessica Cornish; Kyle Cornish; Blake Cornish, Liam Mueller and Averie Mueller.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 11, 2017, 1:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton.

A luncheon will be held after the service at The Original Vallarta Mexican Food Restaurant located at 104 E. Sinton St, Sinton.
