Round Rock – Raymond G. Rodriguez passed away February 16, 2017. He was 53.

Raymond was born May 19, 1963 to Juan C. and Nieves (Gonzales) Rodriguez in Sinton, Texas. He was a resident of Round Rock more than 30 years, but attended Sinton schools. Raymond was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan. He loved his motorcycle, fishing, his family and his nieces and nephews. Raymond will be missed by all who knew him.

Raymond is preceded in death by a son: Raymond Rodriguez, Jr.; his father: Juan C. Rodriguez; and a brother: Juan Rodriguez.

Survivors include his wife: Jo Ann Ortiz of Round Rock, Texas; sons: Juan Ramon Rodriguez, Rodolfo Rodriguez and Joseph Roland Flores, all of Austin, Texas; John Joseph Flores of San Antonio, Texas; daughters: Monica Rodriguez of Beeville, Texas and Jaime Lynn Pease of Plano, Texas; mother: Nieves Gonzales of Sinton, Texas; brothers: Paul Rodriguez (Delia) of Sinton, Texas; John Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; George Rodriguez (Norma) of Round Rock, Texas; Rudy Sanchez of Amarillo, Texas; sisters: Sandra Rodriguez (Armando Noriega) of Sinton, Texas; Molly Trevino (Guadalupe Garcia) of Goliad, Texas; Laura Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, Texas; Amy Perales (Joel) and Eva Rodriguez, both of Odem, Texas; stepmother: Celia Rodriguez of Odem, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Recitation of the holy rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 20, 2017, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Sinton. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
