Sinton – Reynaldo “Rey” Ybarra, Jr. passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side.  He was 36.

Rey was born in Taft, Texas on September 11, 1980 to Reynaldo Sr. and Irene (Serna) Ybarra. He was a construction worker and a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas.

Preceding Rey in death is his grandfather Florencio Serna and his uncle Rene Serna.

Survivors include his wife: Maria Rocha Ybarra; parents: Irene Serna and Rey Ybarra; son: Bry’n Ybarra; daughters: K’lyn Ybarra and K’dence Yabarra; brother: Roland Ybarra; sister: Joyce Sandoval; in-laws: Ismael and Angie Rocha; grandmothers: Virginia Ybarra and Maria Serna; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Sinton, Texas.

Visitation will begin Friday, July 7, 2017, 1:00 PM, at Resthaven Funeral Home, Sinton. A holy rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July 8, 2017, 10:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton with Father Pete Stanley as celebrant. Burial will follow in Eternal Rest Cemetery, Sinton.
