Sinton - Robert “Bobby” Custer passed away June 17, 2016. He was 68.

Bobby was born in Sinton, Texas on September 21, 1947 to Dutch and Lucille (Herzog) Voigt. He was a lifelong resident of Sinton, Texas and was currently employed with Energy Transfer as a Pipeline Inspector. Bobby proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Marine Corp.

Preceding Bobby in death is his wife: Connie Custer; daughter: Chellie Anderson; and parents: Dutch and Lucille Voigt.

Survivors include daughters: Audrey (Jason) Brock of Woodsboro, Texas and Lisa (David) Baker of Skidmore, Texas; son-in-law: Jeremy Anderson; four grandchildren; sisters: Marie Hesseltine of Sinton, Texas and Mary (William, Jr.) Dodson of Nordheim, Texas; stepfather: J.D. Custer.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Skidmore.

Pallbearers will be Jason Brock, Jeremy Anderson, Dean Hesseltine, Melvin Hesseltine, Jr., Robby Hesseltine and Jay Cohea. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clayton Anderson, Frank Brandenburg and David Hall.
