Skidmore – Rosario “Rosie” Gonzalez passed away January 29, 2016. She was 66. Rosie was born on January 6, 1950 in Kingsville, Texas to Candido and Josephine (Adame) Gonzales.  She was a homemaker and resident of Corpus Christi, Texas for most of her life and most recently Skidmore, Texas.

Rosie is preceded in death by her son: Christopher Paul Gonzales; father: Candido Gonzales; and brother: David Gonzales.

Survivors include her mother: Josie Gonzales of Skidmore, Texas; son: John Edward Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughter: Monica Evette Silerio (Michael) of Corpus Christi, Texas; brothers: James Gonzales and Andy Gonzales (Anna), both of Corpus Christi, Texas; Candido “Juno” Gonzales, Jr. of Austin, Texas; Robert Gonzales (Elida) of Skidmore, Texas; sisters: Mary Ann Hernandez of Houston, Texas; Melba Davila (Gilbert) of San Antonio, Texas; Naomi Reyna (Edward) of Skidmore, Texas; Martha Davila (Jaime) of Laredo, Texas; and two grandchildren: Lauren Gonzales and Michael Silerio.

A Memorial Service will be held February 13, 2016, 11:00 AM, at La Hermosa Bautista Church in Skidmore, Texas.
