Rockport- Sara Smither Herrick passed away July 31, 2017 with a friend by her side. She had just turned 78 years old a few days prior.
Sara was born in Crystal City, Texas on July 19, 1939 to Bill and Flo Smither. For most of her life she lived in Texas. Born in Crystal City, Sara spent most of her time in Pleasanton, San Antonio, San Angelo, and New Braunfels. She had worked in Banking, Real Estate, and used to own several Pat Walker Figure Salons.  
She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Friend.
Preceding Sara in death are her parents, Bill and Flo Smither, as well as her brother Bill H Smither.
 
Survivors include her two Sons: Todd Mansfield of Pleasanton, Texas; Mike Mansfield of Switzerland, one Grandson Cash Mansfield of Port Aransas, Texas, her brother Jim Smither of Birmingham, Alabama, cousin Marihelen Boyd of Corpus Christi, Texas and her former husband of 28 years, Charlie Herrick of San Antonio, Texas. Sara was also surrounded by her sister in Christ Stephanie, and her daughter in Christ Tammy.
