On October 1st four years ago, God officially declared today to be… Happy Stan Goes to Heaven Day. Choice celebration activities include: sailing, building, flying, hopping a train as a teenager from Ohio to Indianapolis with your brothers, moving free historical homes with your truck, being a ‘wise guy’, eating eggplant parmesan, creating libations for your college friends in the chemistry lab after hours, listening to Rush, routinely reading ones Bible, being a daredevil, accidentally dropping a tree on your neighbors house whilst arboring, being a senior citizen and riding your motorcycle rapidly down SR-4 to evade the Wahkiakum County Sherrifs Department, loving your brothers and daughter with your whole heart, forgiving your father, but most of all relishing in the glory and wonderment of Jesus Christ. ❤️ H

Stan I miss you! We said "I love you" to each other a couple of years ago, when were caring for Dad. Thanks for watching over me when we were kids. You had a fantastic sense of humor and I think you passed it on to me. Please ask Tom Petty to sing a song for you. love, bj

So sorry to hear of the loss of your father. When someone you love dies, it leaves an empty spot in your hearts which could never be filled by any other person. What a wonderful gift we have from God in memories. When you close your eyes, you can see and remember your father just as he was when he was happy and healthy. Soon, in a new world of God's making, all pain, suffering and sickness will be gone forever, Revelation 21:3,4. Hope these words bring you comfort and hope along with family and friends.

Stan was a great brother and friend. I will miss his smiling face and quick jokes. He was a serious Christian, and encouraged me many times. I look forward to being reunited with him in Heaven. Love, Jerry
