Odem – Thomas Richard “Commander” Everingham, passed away August 27, 2015. He was 54.

Thomas was born in Newport News, Virginia on March 31, 1961. Thomas and the love of his life, Ronnetta Lee (nee Wilbourn) resided in Odem, Texas the last five years. He was a Crane Operator employed by Circle 8 and had worked previously for Bay Limited.

Preceding Thomas in death is his mother, Carol Hyke.

Survivors include his wife of 15 years: Ronnetta “Ronnie” Everingham of Odem, Texas; 2 sons: Thomas Alvin Everingham, Jr. of Odem, Texas and Anthony Leroy Hammer of Oklahoma; one daughter: Pamela Marie Hammer of Oklahoma; his father: Clifford John Hyke of Sandwich, Illinois; 3 sisters: Stephanie (John) of Batavia, Ill, Christine Connell of Batavia, Ill and Cindy (Robert) Estes of Yorktown, Virginia; mother-in-law: Karla Hill of Oklahoma; and 1 grandchild.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, September 1, 2015 beginning at 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Sinton, Texas. A private burial ceremony will follow at a later date.
